May the Lord encourage all of us with these words from the psalmist and may they be an expression of our hearts as well:

“I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.

My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.

I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
                                                  ~Psalm 34:1-4

Thank you so much for standing with us in this wonderful endeavor to seek to share the love of Christ with our friends here in the Czech Republic.

Following is a prayer and praise calendar to be used for the month of November:

1&2 –     Praise the Lord for a safe return to Zlín for Sid and Louise Anderson.

3&4 –     Pray for the Deutschmanns’ son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Michelle, in regard to their recent miscarriage.  Pray for the Lord to comfort and encourage them.

5&6 –     Praise the Lord for the safe arrival of the Deutschmanns’ new little granddaughter, Lillian Courtney, born October 28th to Maria and Nat Johnson.

7&8 –     Pray for new English classes that have begun in Slavičín –       that the Lord would use them in a great way to strengthen relationships and to open hearts to the gospel.

9&10 –   Praise the Lord for safety for the Deutschmanns over almost 17,000 miles of highway miles in visiting 18 different churches throughout the U.S.

11&12 – Pray for Craig Sheppard, the MTW director for Eastern Europe, who has had back surgery but is still experiencing a lot of pain.  Pray for the Lord to grant him relief and strength for all his many responsibilities.

13&14 – Praise the Lord for the wonderful times of fellowship the Deutschmanns enjoyed with their churches and individual supporters during their HMA.

15&16 – Please pray for the Lord to use the advertisements on the Zlín buses to bring students to our English program who have hearts that are open to the gospel.

17&18 – Pray for our partnering churches in the U.S. in regard to our summer camps – that the Lord would lead them and guide them in making decisions for this coming summer.

19&20 – Pray for the Lord’s leading for us as a team as we discuss goals and vision and plans for the future of our team.  Praise the Lord for the interest several couples have indicated in possibly joining us to serve in Zlín.

21&22 –Praise the Lord for the preparations for a third English camp by our pastor Rene and his wife Renata.

23&24 – Pray for the Deutschmanns as they fly back to the Czech Republic today.  Pray that they would be able to rapidly “change gears” as they start up the new school year at English Plus+ next week.

25&26 – Pray for our Zlín church –      that the Lord would help us to be salt and light in Zlín and the surrounding community.  Praise the Lord for a new membership class for three dear Czech friends who have become Christians over these past two years.

27&28 – English classes begin today.  Please pray for our students –     that they would not only become proficient in English, but would grow in their desire to know Jesus and would begin seeking to know Him.

29&30 – Pray for Sarah Ingram, our former two-year intern, that the Lord would lead her to the calling of His choice, and that He would give her His peace as she waits on Him.
