May the Lord encourage all of us with these words from the
Apostle Paul:
And this is my prayer: that
your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that
you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the
day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus
Christ -- to the glory and praise of
God.
~ Philippians 1:9-11
We are so grateful for your continued support of the
work here. The Lord is merciful to use the prayers of His children to glorify
Himself and to build His kingdom. What a joy for all of us to be a part of
that!
Below you will find a prayer and praise
calendar to be used for the month of August.
- Praise for the Lord's protection over Sarah Ingram and
her parents as they were involved in a serious car accident a week after
Sarah's return to the U.S. All three were spared serious injuries.
- Pray for the Deutschmanns as they'll be flying back to
the U.S. today for a 4-month HMA -- that the Lord would be merciful and grant
them a safe journey.
- Pray for the Andersons as they are on the road regularly
to visit their supporting churches. May the Lord grant them wonderful times
of fellowship as well as safety and strength.
- Praise for two wonderful English camps in July.
- Praise for the Holy Spirit's work in us, among us, and
through us at both camps.
- Pray for the Spirit to water the many seeds that were
sown at camp.
- Pray for Sarah Ingram as she seeks the Lord's leading
for her future.
- Praise for the strength the Lord provided for Becky
Chaplin and the Deutschmanns in the face of all the details for the English
camps.
- Pray for Sarah Ingram as she adjusts to life back in the
U.S.
- Praise for the forgiving spirit and the compassion that
the Lord has given Diana toward her abusive grandmother.
- Pray for our little church that we would be encouraged
and that we would continue to grow in grace, truth, and love.
- Praise for the warm testimonies of our Czech friends
regarding the blessing of the English camps in their lives.
- Pray for the Deutschmanns as they'll be traveling 20,000
miles by car in the next 3 1/2 months.
- Pray for the Lord to raise up more workers for the work
here in Zlín -- people with a passion for the Lord and
a humble heart of compassion for our Czech friends.
- Praise for the Lord's mercy in undergirding us with such
wonderful supporters -- both through prayer and financial giving.
- Pray for the Holy Spirit to work mightily to extend His
Kingdom here in the Czech Republic, in the U.S., and throughout the world.
- Praise for Světlana's growth in
the faith and for her tender heart.
- Pray for the Lord to continue to protect Diana and to
provide for all her needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
- Praise for the evening messages at both English camps.
The talks were relevant, insightful, and well-attended.
- Pray that the Lord would prepare students for this
fall's English program at the Center in Zlín and in Slavičín.
- Praise for our families -- our children, their spouses,
and their children.
- Pray that all of us would grow in trust, in faith, in
obedience, and in reliance on the Lord.
- Pray for our national pastor René, his
wife Renate, and their children -- Daniela, Tobiáš, and Viktorie. Pray
for their strength and for daily encouragement in their work at home, in the
church, and in the community.
- Praise for physical, emotional and spiritual strength
and health.
- Praise for God's amazing faithfulness, grace, mercy, and
unending presence.
- Pray for the Andersons and the Deutschmanns -- that
their visits with churches and individuals would be a tremendous blessing to
all involved.
- Praise for the spiritual armor the Lord has provided
with which to resist the flaming arrows of the Evil One.
- Pray for the continued unity and purity of the
Church-worldwide. Satan's attacks are relentless. May the love of Christ
compel all of us to be faithful.
- Pray for the Spirit to convict hearts of sin and of the
need for the Savior -- here in Zlín and throughout the
country.
- Pray for mercy and encouragement and protection for
God's people who are being persecuted throughout the world.
- Praise for the eternal hope we have in Christ -- that
nothing can pluck us out of His hand.
