"We do not lose heart. Though
outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For
our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far
outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is
unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." ~
II Corinthians 4:16-18
Thank you for standing with us in the privilege of serving the Lord here in
the Czech Republic.
Below you will find a prayer and praise calendar to be used for the month of
July. Thank you for your commitment to us in this holy endeavor.
-
Praise for Sarah Ingram’s faithful service here these
past 2+ years. She served selflessly, diligently and wholeheartedly.
-
Praise for Sarah’s safe return to the U.S. in late June
and for her godly influence on the lives of many folks here.
-
Pray for Sid and Louise Anderson as they continue to
travel while in the U.S. on H.M.A. Pray for the Lord’s protective hand upon
them.
-
Pray for our little church – that the Lord would glorify
Himself through us and that we would more faithfully reflect Him to all those
who are around us.
-
Pray for Hans Deutschmann as he serves at a youth camp
for mostly non-Christian teenagers today. Pray for him as he shares the
gospel, and as he shares about God’s work in his life and in his family. Pray
for the Holy Spirit to change hearts as the kids are challenged to surrender
their lives to Christ.
-
Praise for the successful completion of another year at
English Plus
-
Praise for the many relationships that are growing and
deepening with our many non-Christian friends.
-
Pray for Becky Chaplin and Gretchen and Hans as they seek
to finish up with all the planning in preparation for the camps. The details
can seem overwhelming. Pray for strength, peace and joy as we seek to press
on in His strength.
-
Pray for Sarah Ingram as she adjusts to life back in the
U.S.
-
Pray that Sarah would take time to rest, to be refreshed,
and to be renewed in the Lord.
-
Pray for the Lord’s leading in Sarah’s life as she seeks
His will and direction.
-
Praise for the Lord’s protection over our crippled friend
Diana as she found herself driving her car in the most vicious storm this
country has seen in many years. Her car was damaged slightly, but she was
kept safe.
-
Pray for each of the teachers and workers at the two
camps as they seek to be salt and light.
-
Pray for our first English camp which begins today.
Please pray for the Holy Spirit to work powerfully in both camps in order to
accomplish God’s eternal purposes.
-
Pray for Dean Williams who will be bringing the evening
messages this week at camp – and Alan Carter who will bring them next week –
that the words would be used by the Spirit to touch hearts and minds.
-
Pray that in both camps seeds would be sown, seeds would
germinate, and that the Lord would cause fruit to be born.
-
Praise for our American teams who so willingly give
themselves and their resources in order to help lead our camps.
-
Praise the Lord for two camps that are totally filled.
-
Praise for opportunities to share the love of Christ with
our wonderful Czech campers – the majority of whom don’t yet know the Lord.
Praise the Lord for His common grace in these dear friends. Pray for His
saving grace to be poured out upon these two camps.
-
Pray for Diana’s strength and safety in a very difficult
situation with her abusive grandmother. Pray for the Lord to change her
grandmother’s heart.
-
Pray for the Deutschmanns’ strength to press on in the
face of a longing to be closer to children and grandchildren.
-
Pray for the second camp which begins today that the Lord
would work powerfully this week – in us and through us – to glorify Himself
and to build his kingdom.
-
Pray for Světlana, our paraplegic
friend in Prague that God’s amazing grace in Christ would continue to be her
daily joy and strength. The transforming power of the Holy Spirit in her life
is truly amazing.
-
Praise for the Lord’s mercy, grace, faithfulness,
gentleness, patience, and justice.
-
Pray that God’s character would be reflected in us as we
serve Him.
-
Praise for the Holy Spirit who is God’s daily presence in
our lives and who convicts us of sin, but who also comforts and counsels us.
-
Pray for our little Sunday school – for the Czech
teachers who are now planning and teaching without the help of the
missionaries – and for the children whose hearts are so tender toward the
Lord.
-
Pray for the Andersons to be used by the Lord in
wonderful ways to be an encouragement to churches and their pastors, while, at
the same time, Sid and Louise might also be encouraged and strengthened.
-
Praise God for our amazing supporters – both churches and
individuals.
-
Pray for our supporting churches and individuals – that
the joy of the Lord would be their strength and that they would seek God’s
glory above all else.
-
Pray the same for us as a team.
